Adding Guests to Calendar Bookings
For services that involve more than one person — a couples massage, a group fitness class, a family consultation — you can let the person booking add extra guests right from the booking widget.
How it works for the booker
When guest support is turned on for a calendar, the booking form includes a section where the person scheduling the appointment can add additional attendees, typically entering each guest's name and email. They can add as many guests as the calendar allows before confirming the booking.
Requiring at least one guest
If a service genuinely requires a second person — like a tandem session or a two-person consultation — you can turn on Require Guests for Booking. This forces the booker to add at least one guest before they're able to complete the appointment.
Charging per guest
If your calendar collects payment, you can enable per-attendee pricing so the total charge scales with the group size:
Total charge = Service price × (1 booker + number of guests)
This means a single-price class or session automatically bills correctly whether one person books or five, without you having to manually adjust anything.
Setting it up
- Open Calendars > Calendar Settings and select the calendar.
- Go to the booking form or details tab and find the Guests option.
- Turn on guest support, and optionally enable Require Guests for Booking and per-attendee payment.
- Save your changes and test a booking to confirm guests can be added as expected.
This is a good fit for classes, workshops, group consultations, and any service where you need a complete attendance record and accurate group billing.
