Group Social Accounts for Faster Posting
If you manage many profiles, picking each one by hand for every post gets tedious. Groups let you save a set of accounts under a single name and select them all in one click.
Where to manage groups
You can create and edit groups from three places: the Social Planner overview page, the Post to area while writing a new post, and Social Planner > Settings.
Create a group
- Open Marketing > Social Planner.
- Click Add Group.
- Type a Group Name, such as "Local Shops" or "Product Launch".
- Click Add accounts to group and tick the channels that belong in it.
- Click Add Group to save.
Edit a group
Click the pencil icon next to the group, then rename it, add accounts, or remove accounts. Save when you are done.
Use a group in a post
When you create a post, choose the group name in Post to. Every account inside it is selected automatically, and you can still deselect individual accounts before publishing.
Good practices
- Make groups by audience (customers, partners), by brand, or by location.
- Each account can appear in several groups, but only once within the same group.
- Rename groups when campaigns change so the names stay meaningful.
Good to know: Pair a group with Customize for each channel so one selection can still produce tailored text for every network.
