Add an Image Slider to a Page

The Image Slider element turns a set of pictures into a swipeable carousel, which is handy for portfolios, product shots, testimonials and before-and-after galleries.

Add the slider

  1. Open your page in the builder and choose the section where it belongs.
  2. Click Add Elements and drag Image Slider into place.
  3. Select the element to open its settings.
  4. Add slides by choosing pictures from your Media Library.
  5. Adjust transition effect, autoplay, arrows and pagination style.
  6. Save and preview.

Slider options

  • Link on click: set a URL under the general options and decide whether it opens in a new tab or the current one. Because the whole image is clickable, put any button text into the picture itself.
  • Image resizing: resize slide images from the general options.
  • Number of slides: unlimited, though three to five tends to work best.
  • Mobile: the element is responsive and adapts to phones automatically.

Image sizing tip

Use images with a 16:9 ratio, such as 1600 x 900 or 1920 x 1080 pixels, so every slide looks sharp and the same height.

Third-party widgets

If you need something the built-in slider lacks, a custom code element can embed a slider widget from an outside provider. Paste the provider's snippet into the code element and preview carefully on mobile.

Good to know: Compress images before uploading; a slider with large files can slow the whole page.
