Write Blog Posts With the AI Assistant

The built-in AI assistant helps you go from idea to draft inside the post editor, including headings, search details and images.

Turn it on

The assistant is a Labs feature. Enable it in your account's Labs settings before first use.

Two modes

• Assist mode: give a topic, a word count, an audience and keywords. You receive an outline, headings, a draft, a title, description and keywords, plus suggested images. Good for quick first drafts.
• Build mode: write your own prompt, such as "Write a 1,200-word beginner guide to composting", for more control over tone and structure.

Use it

1. Open Sites > Blog, choose a blog and click New Post.
2. Open the AI assistant in the editor.
3. Choose Assist or Build, enter your information and generate.
4. Edit, rewrite or regenerate any section; you can also adjust tone, length and readability, translate it, or reference a URL or image.
5. Save as draft or publish after review.

Review everything

AI can look up current information, but you remain responsible for accuracy. Check facts, names and prices before publishing.

Good to know: Give the assistant a specific audience and a clear goal; vague prompts produce generic articles that need more editing.
