Design the Thank-You Message Shown After Submitting

The On Submit message is what people see right after sending a form, survey or quiz. A branded confirmation reassures them and can point to the next step.

What you can include

  • A headline and subtext with bold, italics, sizes, colors and emojis.
  • Links, images, and bullet or numbered lists.
  • Custom values that insert the person's own details.
  • Background color, text weight, corner radius, margin and padding.
  • Background blur, which softens a busy background image so text stays readable (available only when the form has a background image).

Set it up

  1. Go to Sites and open the form, survey or quiz in the builder.
  2. Click Settings > On Submit.
  3. Choose Message from the dropdown (other choices send people to a URL).
  4. Write your headline and text in the rich editor and format it.
  5. Adjust Message Styling, Margin and Padding.
  6. Toggle Background Blur if wanted.
  7. Switch between Desktop and Mobile views to style each separately.
  8. Review in the preview, then Save.

Ideas

A thank-you with a booking link, a download button for the guide they asked for, or a short "what happens next" list.

Good to know: Keep the message short and put one clear next step in it; visitors who see a single action are more likely to take it.
