Show, Hide, Redirect or Disqualify With Conditional Logic

Conditional logic lets a form react to answers, so each visitor sees only what applies to them.

Actions you can create

  • Show/Hide Fields: Reveal or hide fields, text, HTML, images, payment and terms elements.
  • Display Custom Message: Show a tailored confirmation.
  • Redirect to URL: Send people to a specific page after submitting.
  • Disqualify Lead: Reject submissions that do not qualify.

Rules run from the top down. For redirect, message and disqualify, the first matching rule wins; for show/hide, later matches override earlier ones.

Build a rule

  1. Open the form and click Conditional Logic in the top bar.
  2. Click Add New Condition.
  3. Choose the field, the state (such as "equal to" or "is filled"), and the value.
  4. Add more conditions using either AND or OR (one connector per rule, not both).
  5. Choose the action, then Save and test in Preview.

Operators by field

Text fields offer contains, starts with, is empty and similar. Number, score and monetary fields add greater than, less than and Between (inclusive). Dates offer before, after and between. Checkboxes and multi-dropdowns check whether a specific option is selected.

Calendars

When a custom form is used for booking, hide/show rules apply live, and a disqualified lead is stopped before an appointment or payment is created.

Good to know: Text comparisons ignore capitalization and extra spaces, so "Yes" and " yes" match.
