Embed Live Chat Inside Your Page Content

Instead of a floating bubble, an embedded live chat sits inside your page layout. This works well next to a pricing table, a booking form or a contact section.

What stays the same

Routing, contact capture, automations and Conversations all behave exactly as with a normal live chat widget. Only the placement changes.

Create it

  1. Go to Sites > Chat Widget and click New, then choose Live Chat.
  2. Open the Style tab and set Widget Placement to Embedded / Inline.
  3. Adjust colors, avatar and header to match the page.
  4. In Chat Window, edit the intro message, contact form fields, required fields and button text.
  5. In the messaging settings, configure auto-responses, assignment, business hours and closed-chat messages.
  6. Click Get Code and copy the snippet.

Place it

  • Funnels and websites: add a Code element where you want chat to appear, open the code editor, paste the snippet, save and publish.
  • Other sites: paste the snippet in the exact spot on the page where the chat should render.

Tips

  • Give the widget enough width so it does not look squeezed.
  • Check the mobile layout after publishing; the widget is responsive by default.
  • You can keep a sticky widget on other pages. Switching between sticky and embedded resets custom dimensions to recommended sizes.
  • If it does not show, confirm the code is on the page and that the page is published.

Good to know: Put embedded chat close to your call to action, where visitors tend to hesitate.
