Facebook and Instagram Messaging

Once connected, customer DMs on either platform land in your Conversations inbox alongside SMS, email, and everything else.

Enable Facebook Messenger

1. Confirm "send message" and "access message" permissions for your Page.
2. Make sure the connected account has full page access.
3. In Settings > Integrations > Facebook > Settings, turn on Messenger.

Enable Instagram DMs

1. On your Instagram profile, go to Settings > Privacy > Messages, turn on Allow Access to Messages.
2. Confirm the Instagram account shows in your Page's connected assets.
3. Grant messaging permission at the business tools level.
4. Turn on Instagram messaging in the Facebook integration settings.

If you turn off "Allow Access to Messages" on Instagram, you'll only see DMs in Instagram itself, not Vendi Today.
