Analyzing Workflow Email Campaigns
A workflow campaign is simply the set of all email actions inside one workflow. Viewing them together shows how your automated messages perform step by step.
Why it helps
- Workflow email statistics sit alongside your regular campaigns, so you can compare them in one place.
- You can see overall results for the workflow and drill into each email action.
- You can jump into the workflow to make changes straight from the stats screen.
Viewing the statistics
- Go to Marketing > Emails > Campaigns.
- Open the Workflow Campaigns tab.
- Find the workflow you want to review.
- Click Statistics.
- Use the dropdown to switch from the overall view to an individual email action.
Making edits
Click Edit Workflow on the same screen to open the workflow builder, change a step and publish again.
What to look for
- A step with strong opens but weak clicks needs a clearer call to action.
- A big drop between two emails may indicate poor timing or wait steps that are too long.
- Low opens across a workflow can point to subject lines or sender names that need work.
Exporting
You can download workflow email results from Marketing > Emails > Statistics by choosing the workflows-only export, which reports at the individual email action level.
Comparing versions
If you change an email, note the date. Later comparisons are easier when you know which version performed.
Good to know: Review each email action on its own before changing the whole workflow, because one weak step can drag overall numbers down.
