Start a Workflow When a Page Is Viewed
The page view trigger lets Workflows react when a Contact visits a funnel or website. Use it to send follow-ups, move opportunities or alert your team based on interest.
Create the trigger
- Open Workflows and create a new workflow.
- Click Add Trigger and choose the Funnel/Website Page View trigger.
- In filters, select the funnel or website. You can choose several.
- Optionally limit it to a specific page, or enter an exact page path or URL.
- Optionally add UTM parameters so it fires only for a chosen campaign.
- Add your actions, then save and publish.
Notes
The trigger fires for known Contacts, meaning people the system already recognizes, for example through a form or tracked link.
Examples
- A visitor views your pricing page, so send a short text offering help.
- A Contact visits the checkout page but does not buy, so send a reminder after an hour.
- Visits coming from a specific ad campaign receive a tag.
- Move an opportunity to a new stage after a demo page view.
Troubleshooting
- Nothing fires: confirm the workflow is published and the Contact was identified.
- Too many runs: tighten the page path or UTM filters.
- Test by visiting the page through a tracked link from your own Contact record.
Good to know: Combine this trigger with a wait step and a purchase check so buyers do not receive abandonment reminders.
