Track Gift Card Performance

See how your gift card program is actually performing — not just how many cards you've created, but how much revenue and how many customers they're bringing in.

Where to find it

Go to Payments > Gift Cards to see the performance dashboard. Filter by a preset range (today, last 7 days, last 30 days, etc.) or set a custom date range to match whatever period you're reviewing.

What you can see

  • Total gift cards issued — every card created in the period, whether it was sold through a checkout or sent directly for free.
  • Total value issued — the combined dollar value of everything issued, with a trend line over time so you can spot growth or drop-off.
  • Average order value — helps you see which denominations customers actually gravitate toward.
  • Unique customers — how many distinct people have bought or received a gift card, a rough measure of how far the program is reaching.
  • Top denominations — a ranked view of your five most popular amounts, so you know which price points to keep promoting (or add more of).

For transaction-level detail — a specific customer, order status, or remaining balance on a specific card — check the Gift Card Orders page instead of the dashboard summary.

A note on test mode

Any gift cards sold or sent while you're in test mode don't count toward these numbers, so the dashboard always reflects real activity only.
