Set Certificate Expiry Reminder Emails

If you've set certificates to expire, remind recipients before that happens.

Default behavior

Reminders are sent 7 days and 2 days before expiry by default.

Customizing reminder timing

1. Go to the certificate template (or individual issued certificate).
2. Set (or confirm) its expiry date.
3. Choose to send 1 or 2 reminder emails, toggle each on or off.
4. Enter the number of days before expiry each reminder should go out.

Important note

Changing this only affects certificates going forward — already-scheduled reminders keep the original timing.

Why it's worth setting up

A well-timed reminder gives recipients a chance to renew before losing access.
