Analytics for Pages Hosted Elsewhere

External Tracking lets you measure visitors on websites and forms that live outside Vendi Today. You paste a small tracking script into your outside pages, and their activity appears in a dedicated dashboard next to your other Sites analytics.

What you can measure

  • Totals: page views, form views, responses, and completion rate.
  • Engagement: average time on page and exits before 30 seconds.
  • Trends: daily line charts for views, responses, and completion rate over a date range you choose.
  • Audience: device type, top browsers, aggregated client IPs, and country, state, and city.
  • Per-form results: views, responses, and completion rate for each form, with a last-updated time.

You can filter the dashboard by domain, page, or form to compare landing pages or find a weak form.

Setting it up

  1. Go to Sites, then open External Tracking.
  2. Copy the tracking script shown there.
  3. Paste it into the <head> section of each external page or site you want to measure, then save and publish.
  4. Open Sites > Analytics and click the analytics dropdown.
  5. Select External Tracking. This option appears only after the script has been detected.
  6. Visit your outside page yourself, then return to the dashboard to confirm that views are showing up.

You can also click the Analytics button inside the External Tracking window to jump straight to the dashboard.

Definitions

Form Views count how many times a form was displayed; Responses count completed submissions; Completion Rate is responses divided by form views. Average time on page is only available from January 20, 2026 onward. Tracking several domains works as long as each carries the script.

Good to know: If the External Tracking option is missing from the dropdown, recheck that the script is in the head of a published page, then allow a few minutes for data to arrive.
