Calendar Setup Assistant

Rather than building a calendar by clicking through every settings tab yourself, the Calendar Setup Assistant walks you through the process conversationally, asking questions about what you need and configuring the calendar for you.

What it does

You describe your scheduling needs in plain language, or pick from a set of guided use-case options, and the assistant asks follow-up questions about things like the calendar's purpose, which team members should be involved, meeting location, and availability. Along the way, it shows you a live preview of what your booking page will look like.

How to use it

  1. Go to Calendars.
  2. Open the Calendar Setup Assistant.
  3. Click Create a new calendar, or select one of the suggested use cases if one matches what you need.
  4. Answer the assistant's questions about calendar purpose, team members, location, and availability.
  5. Review the setup summary and preview of the booking page.
  6. Confirm to create the calendar.
  7. Optionally, book a test appointment to see the full booking experience, then fine-tune anything in Calendar Settings afterward.

Good to know

  • You still need calendar permissions to use the assistant — it doesn't grant access you wouldn't otherwise have.
  • If you'd rather configure every setting by hand, the standard manual calendar builder is still available as an alternative — the assistant is a faster starting point, not a replacement.
  • Availability of this feature may vary by account as it rolls out.
