Member Login and Magic Links

A straightforward way for members to log in, and get back in if they forget a password.

First-time login

Access granted (purchase, manual, workflow) triggers an email with a secure link — clicking it lets them set a password. The link itself is the invitation, no separate signup.

Resetting a forgotten password

1. Forgot Password on the login page.
2. Enter email.
3. Reset link valid for 2 hours.
4. New password logs them in automatically.

Admins can't reset a member's password directly — direct them to the Forgot Password flow.

Magic links for one-click access

A secure, member-specific URL logging straight in without credentials.

Email-sent links expire after 24 hours; portal-generated ones after 15 minutes. Only handles authentication — doesn't grant access beyond what the member already has permission to see.
