Set Up an Affiliate Program for Your Community
Your most engaged paying members are often your best source of new members. GoKollab's built-in affiliate program lets them earn a commission for referrals that convert — turning word-of-mouth into a structured, trackable channel.
How it works
- Each paying member gets an auto-generated invite link they can share.
- When someone joins and pays for membership using that link, the referring member earns a commission.
- As the community owner, you set the commission percentage and manage payouts yourself — this is a program you run for your own community, not a platform-wide GoKollab program.
Setting it up
- Go to your community's settings.
- Find the affiliate/referral program option.
- Set your commission percentage.
- Turn the program on — paying members will start receiving their referral links.
Tracking performance
You get a dashboard showing where referrals are coming from, how much each affiliate has earned, and the status of their payouts, so you can see exactly which members are driving growth and manage payments accordingly.
Why it's worth setting up
Referral-driven growth tends to convert better than cold marketing, since it's coming from someone the new member already trusts — and giving your existing members a financial incentive to spread the word costs you nothing until it actually results in a paying member.
