Run an Affiliate Campaign on an External Website

Your affiliates do not have to promote pages hosted in Vendi Today. An external website campaign lets one referral link track activity across any website you control, including its subdomains.

What You Get

• A single universal affiliate link for your whole site.
• Product-based or default commissions for items sold through your connected Stripe account.
• Automatic handling of upgrades, downgrades and recurring payments.

Set It Up

1. Go to Marketing > Affiliate Manager > Campaigns and click + Add.
2. Choose External Website as the source.
3. Enter your website URL to generate the tracking link.
4. Set default or product-specific commissions and any tiers.
5. Copy the campaign's tracking script and add it to your website so visits can be recognized.
6. Publish the campaign and give affiliates their links.

You can find the script later from the options menu next to the campaign in the list. A funnel or website hosted in Vendi Today can also be used as an external destination, but then it needs the same script installed.

Rules to Remember

• Only products sold through Stripe are supported at the moment.
• One-time products always use the default commission.
• Recurring products can have their own rates; add them in the first step to configure product-based commissions.
• To exclude a product from rewards, add it and set its commission to 0%.

Good to know: Test with a real referral link and a small purchase after installing the script, before announcing the program.
