Contact (vCard) QR Codes
A vCard QR code shares a complete contact entry with one scan. The person's phone shows your details, ready to save, with no typing. It works well for networking, events, and anyone who wants a quick, no-frills way to hand over contact information.
What you can include
- First and last name.
- Phone number (required) and mobile number.
- Email and website.
- Profile photo or company logo.
- Street address, city, state, country, and postal code.
- Company name and job title.
Social links are not part of a vCard. If you need them, use a Profile Card instead.
Create one
- Go to Sites > QR Codes and click Create QR Code.
- Enter a descriptive name for your own reference.
- Under Select QR Code Type, choose vCard, then click Next.
- Fill in the contact fields and click Next.
- Choose colors for the background, dots, marker border, and marker center, using the picker or hex values.
- Pick shapes for the dots, marker borders, and marker centers.
- Add a logo from the built-in choices or your own upload, and decide whether to remove the background behind it.
- Optionally add a page background image and adjust its transparency.
- Choose a download format (PNG, SVG, or PDF) and click Download, then click Save to store it in Vendi Today.
Keeping details current
These codes are dynamic, so you can change a phone number or job title later and the same printed code keeps working. Once scanned, the contact is stored on the device and remains available offline.
Most smartphones can scan the code with their built-in camera or a scanner app.
Good to know: Test by scanning with your own phone before printing; a quick check catches typos in a phone number that would otherwise go on hundreds of cards.
