Connect Mercado Pago

Mercado Pago is a payment processor for businesses selling across Latin America, supporting Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Ecuador, Uruguay, Peru, Brazil, and El Salvador.

Connect your account

1. Go to Payments > Integrations and select Mercado Pago.
2. In your Mercado Pago developer dashboard, retrieve your production Public Key and Access Token.
3. Enter those credentials in Vendi Today, select your account's country, and generate a webhook secret.
4. In Mercado Pago's developer panel, add the production webhook URL provided during setup.
5. Assign Mercado Pago to the specific channels you want it to handle — order forms, invoices, payment links, and so on — and toggle Live or Test mode as needed.

Only production credentials process real charges; test credentials won't move real money even in a live checkout.

Things to plan around

• Products should be priced in the same currency as your Mercado Pago account to avoid mismatches at checkout.
• Only one Mercado Pago checkout element can be active on a single page at a time.
• For subscriptions and recurring charges, your account needs CVV-less support enabled on Mercado Pago's side.
• Card transactions have regional minimum amounts — check Mercado Pago's requirements for your country before assuming a small-ticket item will process.
