Change Your Default Brand Board
The default Brand Board decides which colors and fonts show up in the pickers inside your email editor, Sites builder, and other tools. Only one board can be the default at any moment.
How the default works
Your very first Brand Board is made the default automatically. Others stay saved but are not shown in pickers until you switch.
When to switch
- After a rebrand: New logos, colors, or fonts have been approved.
- Seasonal campaigns: A holiday palette can be made default for a while. For a recurring theme, it is often easier to keep a separate board and swap it in when needed than to edit your main one.
- Working on a different brand: Choose the matching board before you start designing.
Set a board as default
From the list
- Go to Marketing > Brand Boards.
- Click the three dots beside the board.
- Choose Set as Default.
From inside a board
- Open the board.
- Click Set as Default at the top right.
The board now shows Default as its status. Open an editor to confirm that the expected colors appear.
What does not change
Switching the default does not touch anything you have already built. It only affects what pickers offer from now on, so older pages and emails keep their present styling until you edit them.
No boards yet?
Create one and it becomes the default automatically.
Good to know: Switch the default back after a seasonal campaign finishes so team members do not accidentally use the holiday colors.
