Use Typeform Triggers and Actions in Workflows

With Typeform connected, every new response can start a workflow instantly, and the workflow can work with your forms.

Trigger

New Entry (Instant): fires the moment a respondent submits a form. It is delivered by webhook, so there is no polling delay.

Actions

• Create Empty Form: creates a blank form.
• Duplicate Existing Form: copies a form with its questions.
• Search Responses in a Form: retrieves earlier responses for use later in the workflow.

These are premium actions and count toward premium usage.

Connect and build

1. In Automation > Workflows, click Add New Trigger and search for Typeform.
2. Select New Entry, then Connect Now and complete the authorization. You can also connect in Settings > Integrations.
3. Choose the form to watch.
4. Click Test Trigger so a real response is fetched, then map fields such as name, email, and each answer to workflow values.
5. Add your actions, such as creating a Contact, applying a tag, and sending an email.
6. Save and publish.

Examples

• Create or update a Contact from each response and add a "Typeform lead" tag.
• Send a personalized thank-you SMS that quotes one of the answers.
• Notify the right teammate when a specific choice is selected.

Good to know: Submit a real test response in Typeform first, since the trigger test needs a genuine sample to map.
