Automatically Send a Certificate After a Quiz or Assignment

You can also issue a certificate the instant someone passes a specific quiz or assignment, using a workflow automation.

Setting up the automation

1. Go to Automation > Workflows and create a new workflow.
2. Set the trigger to Lesson Completed.
3. Add filters to target the exact lesson: Course, Module/section, Lesson.
4. Add an Issue Certificate action.
5. Choose the certificate template.
6. Save and publish.

Why use this instead of course-level certificates

This lets you layer in extra recognition at exactly the point that matters, without waiting for the whole course to be done. You can combine this with a standard course-completion certificate.
