Upload a Bulk Scheduling File

Once your spreadsheet is ready, the upload flow validates every row and schedules the whole batch.

Before uploading

  • Connect your social accounts in Settings.
  • Host media in the Media Library and use those links in the file. Cloud-drive sharing links can no longer be read.
  • Keep each file to 90 posts or fewer; remember that each post counts once per network.
  • Use .csv or .xlsx, with the headers from the sample file.

Import steps

  1. Go to Marketing > Social Planner and click + New Post.
  2. Choose Upload from CSV.
  3. Select Advance Format to unlock all fields, or Basic if you only need the simple columns.
  4. Upload your file and click Next.
  5. Choose the social accounts to publish to. To require review, switch on Send for approval and pick an approver.
  6. Click Create.
  7. Read the validation results. Any errors are flagged and must be fixed before moving on. On the review screen you can also add or swap images without editing the file.
  8. Click Schedule, then Import to place all posts on the calendar.

Things that trip people up

  • Tags and categories do not travel with content copied into a different account from a template, so recreate them.
  • Pinterest boards cannot be set per row.
  • Google Business Profile publishes only one image.

After import

Posts appear in the calendar and list views. Edit them individually, or use search and saved views to find a batch quickly.

Good to know: Name a category for each import so you can filter the whole batch later.
