Payments Tab and Transaction History
When money changes hands as part of a booking, you shouldn't have to leave the appointment to see the financial side of it. Every paid appointment in Vendi Today includes a Payments tab showing exactly what was charged, what's outstanding, and every transaction tied to that booking.
What the tab shows
Open any paid appointment and switch to the Payments tab to see a summary of the total cost, the amount already paid, and any remaining balance. If multiple people are attached to the same booking — like a class with several attendees — you can see each person's individual payment status, whether they've paid in full, paid partially, or still owe.
Reviewing the transaction history
Below the summary, a full transaction list shows every charge processed against that appointment, including any coupon discounts that were applied and how they affected the total. This gives you a complete audit trail for that specific booking without needing to cross-reference a separate payments dashboard.
What it doesn't do
The Payments tab is a reporting and history view — it isn't where refunds are issued. If you need to refund a charge, head to Payments > Transactions or your payment processor's dashboard instead, and the resulting refund will still show up back here in the appointment's history once it's processed.
Good to know: Because coupon impact is visible right in this tab, it's a quick way to check whether a discount code is being applied correctly without needing to dig through your broader payments reporting.
