Save Quiz Results to Contact Fields
Mapping writes each person's score, tier and winning category into their contact record, so you can segment and personalize without manual tagging.
What gets created
Contact custom fields, named after your quiz, for:
- Overall Score and Overall Score Tier.
- Each category's score and tier.
- Highest and lowest category details.
Scores are saved as numbers; tiers and category names are text. If someone retakes the quiz, values are overwritten, not duplicated.
Turn it on
- Open Sites > Quizzes and edit the quiz.
- Go to the Result Template card and click Edit Template.
- Click Settings at the upper right and expand Custom Fields.
- Switch on the fields you want to sync.
- Click Save.
After the next submission, the fields appear on the contact. They work for existing quizzes too.
Use the data
- Create Smart Lists such as "Overall Score is 80 or higher" or "Fitness Tier is Beginner".
- Branch Workflows by category or tier, with different emails or tasks.
- Export Contacts to CSV, which includes the quiz fields.
- Personalize pages and messages with the values.
Managing the fields
You may rename them or put them in groups. Deleting one removes that data from every contact, so avoid it unless you are certain.
Good to know: These are contact fields, so they are available in forms, Smart Lists and any contact workflow.
