Draft Emails Faster with Write with AI in the Send Email Action

Inside the Send Email action, the Write with AI button turns a short description into a complete email, subject line included. It works for marketing sends and transactional messages alike.

Generate an email

  1. Open your workflow and click an existing Send Email action, or add a new one.
  2. Click Write with AI.
  3. In the description box, say what the email should do. Example: "Offer 20 percent off our summer sale and tell people the deadline is Friday."
  4. Choose a Tone if you want one. Neutral is the default, and Friendly, Professional and Casual are among the other options.
  5. Click Generate and read the draft.
  6. Tick Use Subject if you want the suggested subject line as well.
  7. Not quite right? Click Re-generate and type a follow-up instruction, such as "shorter, and add a clear button label".
  8. When you are happy, click Use Email to place the content into the action.

Tips for better drafts

  • Include the audience, the offer and the single action you want the reader to take.
  • Mention the voice you want ("warm, no jargon") in addition to picking a tone.
  • Add merge fields like the contact's first name after generating, then preview the email.
  • You can edit the inserted text freely, exactly like email content you typed yourself.

Good to know: AI drafts are a starting point, so always read the result and send yourself a test before you publish the workflow.
