Customizing Layout Borders
Borders frame a section of your email, making cards, offers and highlighted boxes stand out. You can control color, corner radius and thickness for any layout.
What you can change
- Border Color: pick from the color picker or enter a hex code.
- Border Radius: raise it for soft, rounded corners or leave it low for crisp edges.
- Border Thickness: from a hairline to a bold outline.
- Per-edge control: style a single side, for example only a bottom line.
Adding a border
- Open Marketing > Emails and edit a campaign or template.
- Click the layout or section you want to frame. The edit panel opens on the left.
- Scroll to Border Settings.
- Click the color box and choose a color.
- Move the radius slider or enter a number.
- Set the thickness the same way.
- To style one edge only, switch to the edge-specific controls and adjust that side.
- Preview the change, or send a test email, then click Save.
Where it applies
Borders are available on layouts, not on individual elements such as a single image or text block. To outline a single element, place it alone in a layout and give that layout the border.
Responsiveness
Borders scale automatically on small screens, so you do not have to configure them again for mobile.
Design ideas
- A thin colored border plus a rounded corner makes a tidy coupon box.
- A bottom-only border works as a subtle divider between sections.
Good to know: Pair a border with a light background color on the layout for a card effect that stays readable even if an inbox ignores the border.
