Unexpected Text Showing Near an Embedded Calendar
Sometimes odd lines such as unrelated business names, "demo reviews" or "free trial" appear near a booking calendar you embedded. They usually are not from the calendar code. They sit in the page around it.
What Is Going On
The calendar embed is just a clean frame or script. Stray text typically comes from hidden blocks in the page builder, leftovers from a template, or elements on an outside site such as a WordPress page that are hidden with styling like display: none.
Verify the Embed Code
- Go to Calendars > Calendar Settings and copy the Embed Code.
- Paste it into a plain text editor.
- Confirm you see only the expected
<iframe>or<script>code. - Check that every opening
<and closing>is present. A cut-off ending such as</scriptwithout the final bracket is a frequent mistake. Fix it and re-embed.
Clean the Page
In funnels and websites:
- Open the page in the editor.
- Look for hidden, unused or duplicate sections.
- Use the find shortcut (Ctrl or Cmd + F) for words like trial, review or demo.
- Delete or edit any unrelated text, then save and publish.
On an outside site: use that site's editor, or your browser's Inspect tool (right-click, Inspect), to find the unrelated element.
If You Cannot Find It
Contact support with the page address and a short screen recording of what you tried. If the text appears even in the plain-text copy of the embed code, tell them, although this is rare.
Good to know: The embed code itself does not add outside links, so extra text is nearly always something already on the page.
