Pay Per Sale for Forms, Surveys and Calendars
Lead-style sources can also reward affiliates only when a referred contact actually buys. This is useful when you care about revenue more than submission volume.
Lead Versus Sale Models
- Pay Per Lead: the affiliate earns when someone submits, completes or books.
- Pay Per Sale: the affiliate earns when that tracked contact later completes a qualifying purchase within the tracking window.
The two cannot both be enabled for the same campaign setup, which prevents paying twice for one journey.
Commission Options
Choose a flat amount for each sale or a percentage of the sale value. Flat suits offers with similar prices; percentage suits mixed price points.
Product Rules
If you attach products to the campaign, only purchases of those products qualify. For forms and surveys inside a funnel or website, the funnel or website's own products are the ones considered. If the page has no products, products defined inside the form are not used automatically. Calendars qualify only when payment is switched on for the calendar; unpaid bookings still work for lead tracking.
Set It Up
- Go to Marketing > Affiliate Manager > Campaigns and start a new campaign.
- Choose Forms, Surveys or Calendars and select the specific item.
- In commission setup, choose Pay Per Sale and pick flat or percentage.
- Enter the commission value and associate products if needed.
- Check the tracking window in the campaign settings.
- For calendars, confirm payment is enabled.
- Publish, assign affiliates and share their links.
Good to know: Pay Per Sale naturally discourages low-quality leads because affiliates are rewarded only for buyers.
