Create and Sell Products
Whether you're selling a physical item, a service package, or a digital download, products in Vendi Today can be sold through your online store, a funnel, a payment link, an invoice, or right inside a form.
Create your product
- Go to Payments > Products and click + Create Product.
- Turn on Include in Online Store if you want it publicly browsable in your storefront.
- Add a title and description — this is your chance to actually sell the thing, so don't just list specs.
- Upload an image or video (square images around 1024x1024 tend to look best, and keep files under 10MB).
- Optionally add a custom label or assign the product to a collection so it's easier for customers to browse.
Handle tax settings
Pick the appropriate tax code for the product, decide whether displayed prices already include tax, attach a tax rate if one applies, and set a statement descriptor — this is what shows up on your customer's bank or card statement, so make it recognizable.
Set your price
Choose One-Time for a single charge, or Recurring if this is a subscription. Either way, enter a price name and amount, and optionally add a "compare at" price if you want to show a discount. If you're tracking stock, turn on inventory tracking here too.
Add variants (optional)
Selling something with options — different tiers, sizes, or access levels? Set up an option name (like "Access Level"), then define each variant with its own name, price, and inventory count.
Polish it for search
Fill in an SEO title, description, and a clean URL handle before saving — this helps your product page get found and look right when shared.
Where to sell it
| Method | Best for |
|---|---|
| Online Store | Customers browsing and buying directly |
| Funnel | A dedicated page built around this one product |
| Payment Link | Sharing a direct checkout link anywhere |
| Invoice | Billing a specific customer directly |
| Form | Collecting info and payment in one step |
If it's a subscription, you can also add a free trial period, set the billing frequency, and tack on a one-time setup fee if that fits your pricing model.
