Connect Your Personal Email Inbox

If you already use Gmail or Outlook for day-to-day email, you can connect that inbox to Vendi Today so messages sync both directions — reply from your normal inbox or from Vendi Today, and either way, both stay up to date.

Connect your inbox

1. Go to Settings > My Profile > Email (2-way sync).
2. Choose Gmail or Outlook, whichever you use, and click Connect.
3. Log in and approve the permissions requested.

That's it — no separate app to install, no forwarding rules to configure.

Sending from your connected inbox

Once connected, you can message contacts using your personal email address directly from Vendi Today:

1. Go to Conversations.
2. Click the icon to start a new message and choose Direct Message.
3. Select the contact you're messaging.
4. Your connected email address is already selected as the sender — no extra steps needed.

Why this is worth setting up

Without a connected inbox, conversations with a contact can end up split between your personal email and Vendi Today, and it's easy to lose track of who said what where. With two-way sync in place, a reply sent from your phone's Gmail app shows up in that contact's Vendi Today conversation history just like anything sent from the platform directly — and vice versa. Nothing falls through the cracks because it was answered from the "wrong" inbox.

If something's not syncing

Double-check that you approved all the requested permissions during setup — a partial authorization is the most common reason messages stop showing up on one side. If you're still stuck, your account's help resources include provider-specific setup guides for both Gmail and Outlook.
