Publish Instagram Stories with a Phone Reminder

Instagram does not let outside tools publish Stories that include stickers, links, music, or trending audio. This option lets you plan the Story in Social Planner, then get a push notification on your phone to finish and post it inside Instagram.

Requirements

• The Vendi Today mobile app installed, with push notifications turned on for it.
• Logged in on the phone to the right Instagram account.

Schedule the Story on the web

1. Go to Marketing > Social Planner and click + New Post.
2. Select your Instagram account and choose Story.
3. Upload the media and add a caption.
4. Switch on Publish via Push Notification.
5. Optionally add a note for whoever will post it, for example "Add the holiday sticker first."
6. If you do not have the app yet, click Download App and scan the QR code.
7. Choose a date and time, then click Schedule. The Story appears in the Scheduled list.

What happens at the scheduled time

1. A push notification arrives on the phone.
2. Tapping it downloads the media, copies the caption and your notes to the clipboard, and opens Instagram.
3. In Instagram, add stickers, links, music, or mentions, paste the caption, and publish.

Any teammate who receives the notification can complete the post.

If you miss it

The Story stays in the Notified list. Clone it and set a new time to try again.

When to choose this

Use push-notification stories whenever you want interactive Instagram features. For plain image or video Stories, the regular automatic Story option is enough.

Good to know: Write the note in plain language, such as "Add the poll sticker," so any teammate can finish the post without asking.
