Coupon Codes at Booking
Running a promotion or rewarding a loyal customer shouldn't mean manually adjusting a price every time. Vendi Today lets you attach coupon codes to your calendars so customers can apply a discount right at the moment they book and pay.
Creating a coupon
Set up a coupon with a code customers will enter, a discount type (a flat amount off or a percentage off), and any limits you want to apply — an expiration date, a maximum number of uses, or a minimum booking value required to qualify.
Applying it at checkout
When a calendar has payment collection enabled, customers see a field to enter a coupon code as part of the booking and payment step. Once applied, the discount is reflected immediately in the total they're charged, and the discounted amount is what actually gets processed.
Where the discount shows up afterward
The applied coupon and its impact on the final price are visible later in the appointment's Payments tab, right alongside the transaction history — useful when you're reviewing how much a particular promotion actually cost you in discounts versus how many bookings it drove.
Good use cases
Coupon codes work well for limited-time promotions, referral incentives, or rewarding repeat customers with a discount on their next booking — all without your staff needing to manually override a price during checkout.
Good to know: If a coupon isn't applying correctly at checkout, double-check that it hasn't expired or hit its usage limit — those are the most common reasons a valid-looking code gets rejected.
