Generate a Brand Voice from a Website or Text

Instead of filling in every field, let Vendi Today draft your Brand Voice from a web page or a short description. You can review and edit everything before it is saved.

What you provide

Choose one of these inputs:

  • A website URL: Best with a page full of real copy about your business, such as the About page, a detailed service page, or the home page.
  • A text description: Write at least 50 words (50 to 100 works well) about who you are, what you offer, and how you communicate.

You do not need both.

Steps

  1. Go to Marketing > Brand Boards and open Brand Voice.
  2. Click + Add Brand Voice.
  3. Choose the Text or URL option.
  4. Enter a name for this voice.
  5. Either paste a URL under Import from Website, or write your description under Describe Your Brand.
  6. Wait while your tone, values, and messaging are generated.
  7. Review the result, adjust anything you like, and click Save Brand Voice.

Refine it later

Click the three-dot icon on a voice and choose Edit. You can sharpen your brand promise, change values, tighten your mission statement, or adjust the tone. Every field is editable.

Multiple voices

Create separate voices for different products, audiences, or campaigns. One can be the default, and you can change it whenever you need.

Tips for better results

  • Use pages that sound like you, not pages written by someone else.
  • If a site has thin copy, use the text option instead.
  • Reread the output for facts that do not apply and remove them.

Good to know: Generate two voices from different pages, such as your home page and your blog, and keep the one that sounds more like you.
