Why You Should Grant Access to All Pages When Connecting
When you connect Facebook, you choose which Pages to share. That choice has side effects, so selecting every Page is the safest habit.
What can go wrong
Facebook keeps one authorization for each user and each app. Each time you connect or reconnect, your new selection replaces the old one, and any Page you leave unchecked loses access, even if it works in another account.
Example: Your Facebook login manages Pages A and B. In one account you connect and share only Page A. Later, in another account, you connect the same login and share only Page B. Page A is now deauthorized, and its scheduled posts begin failing with a token error.
Recommended practice
- When Facebook asks which Pages to share, tick all Pages tied to the login.
- Back in Vendi Today, choose which Page each account actually uses. Sharing a Page does not connect it everywhere.
Add Pages later
Reconnect the Facebook account and keep every Page already selected ticked while adding the new ones. Unticking a Page removes its access and breaks any account that uses it.
Already seeing token errors
- Reconnect the Facebook account and select all Pages this time.
- In each account where posts failed, open Social Planner > Settings and check the Page connection. Reconnect the Page if an error remains.
Other networks
The same replacement behavior applies to Facebook and Instagram. For other networks, granting access to every available profile is still a good idea when the option appears.
Good to know: Before reconnecting, write down which Pages you currently use so none are accidentally unticked.
