Delete and Restore Contacts

Deleting a contact should be a deliberate decision — Vendi Today gives you a window to undo it.

Deleting contacts

  1. Go to Contacts, select contacts.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm.

Only admins can delete contacts. Once confirmed, the contact is removed from all campaigns and workflows.

Before you delete: export to CSV first if there's any chance you'll want the data later.

Restoring a contact

Contacts deleted within the last 60 days can be brought back:

  1. Go to Contacts > Restore.
  2. Find the contact.
  3. Check the box and click Restore.

Restoring brings back the record with its associated history.

Undoing a bulk delete

  1. Go to Contacts > Bulk Actions.
  2. Find the delete operation.
  3. Three-dot menu, choose Restore.
  4. Confirm.

What to know about the limits

  • 60-day window: a hard cutoff.
  • HIPAA-compliant accounts: restoration is disabled entirely.
