Read Trigger Summaries and Check Trigger Statistics

Large workflows can hold several triggers with long filter lists. Two built-in aids help you understand what a trigger does and whether it is working, without opening every card.

Trigger summaries on the card

Each trigger card shows a plain-language description of its filters beneath the trigger name. For example, it may read "Form is Contact Us and Tag is not Customer".

  • Long filter lists are shortened with a + more link.
  • Click Details to open the full list in a side panel.
  • Summaries update as soon as you save a change, which makes them handy for reviews and for handing a workflow to a teammate.

Trigger statistics

Switch the workflow to the Stats view to see how each trigger has performed over the last 30 days. Three counters appear on every card:

  • Attempted: contacts the trigger evaluated.
  • Matched: contacts that met all conditions and could enroll.
  • Unmatched: contacts that did not qualify.

Click any counter to open the statistics panel. It lists contact names, emails and timestamps, whether each one matched, and the reason for any mismatch, such as a value that did not match a filter or a missing field. A summary of the most common reasons helps you spot patterns quickly.

Using the panel

  1. Open the workflow and switch to the Stats view.
  2. Click Unmatched on the trigger you are investigating.
  3. Read the reason column, then use the date range or contact search to narrow the list.
  4. Return to the editor, adjust the filter or correct the contact data, and watch the counters change.

The workflow cannot be edited while you are in the stats view, and the numbers refresh within moments of each new event.

Good to know: A high Unmatched count is not always a problem; it often means the trigger is doing its job and screening out the wrong contacts.
