One-Time Booking Links
A one-time link gives someone temporary, single-use access to book time on your calendar. Once they use it to schedule an appointment, the link stops working — so it can't be reused or passed along to someone else.
Why use one
Regular booking links stay live indefinitely and can be shared with anyone. A one-time link is a better fit when you want to:
- Offer a specific person a chance to grab time on your calendar without exposing a permanent, reusable link
- Prevent your availability from being shared further once someone has booked
- Send a personalized scheduling link as part of a one-off outreach or follow-up
Creating a one-time link manually
- Open Calendars and select the calendar you want to share.
- Click Share in the top right.
- Switch to the One-Time Link tab.
- Click Copy to grab the current link, or Generate New Link for a fresh one.
- Send the link to your contact.
Once they book an appointment through it, the link expires. If they (or anyone else) try to use it again, they'll see a message that the link has already expired and to contact you for a new one.
Generating links automatically from a workflow
You can also have Vendi Today generate and send a one-time link automatically as part of a workflow:
- Create a workflow with the trigger of your choice (for example, a new lead form submission or a tag being added).
- Add the action Generate One Time Booking Link, found under the Appointments actions.
- Select which calendar the link should point to.
- Add a follow-up action — typically an email or SMS — to deliver the link.
- Insert the link into your message using the custom value the action generates.
- Save and publish the workflow.
From then on, every contact who triggers the workflow automatically receives their own unique, single-use booking link — no manual link generation needed.
