Top Browsers and Client IPs in Sites Analytics

The Page Views area of Sites Analytics includes two ranked lists: the browsers your visitors use most, and the network addresses that visit most often. Together they help you make sure your pages work for real audiences and notice odd traffic patterns early.

Top Browsers

This list shows up to ten browsers, such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, with each one's percentage of visits. Use it to decide where to spend testing time. If a quarter of your visitors arrive on Safari, previewing your pages there before launch is worth the effort. A browser with a surprisingly high share can also hint at where your audience comes from, for example a mobile-heavy ad campaign.

Top Client IPs

This list ranks the ten addresses that generated the most visits. Most of the time it is simply an office or a frequent visitor. Occasionally, a single address with a very high count points to automated traffic such as a bot or scraper, which can inflate your numbers and skew conversion rates.

How to view them

  1. Click Sites in the left sidebar, then open the Analytics tab.
  2. In the asset dropdown, choose Funnels, Websites, or both.
  3. Set your Date Range, including a custom range for long-term trends.
  4. Scroll down through Page Views to the Top Browsers and Top Client IPs cards.
  5. Compare percentages and look for anything that stands out.

What to do with the findings

  • Test and polish your pages in the browsers at the top of the list.
  • If one address looks unusually active, treat it as suspicious and consider blocking it at your domain or firewall level.
  • Re-check after launching new campaigns to see whether your audience mix shifted.

Good to know: Widen the date range before judging a suspicious address, because one busy day can look alarming while a month of data tells a calmer story.
