Set Up Your Email, Phone Number, and SMS

Before you can email, call, or text your contacts from Vendi Today, you need to set up your sending channels. Here's how to get each one ready.

Email

To keep your emails landing in inboxes instead of spam folders, set up a dedicated sending domain rather than relying on a generic default.

1. Go to Settings > Email Services.
2. Choose to add a dedicated domain and IP, and enter a subdomain you'll use for sending (something like mail.yourbusiness.com).
3. Add the DNS records provided to your domain registrar and confirm verification.
4. Set your sender name and reply-to address so recipients recognize who the email is from.

This extra setup step pays off — a verified sending domain builds trust with inbox providers and noticeably improves deliverability over time.

Phone number

You'll need a phone number to send texts and make calls from Vendi Today.

1. Go to Settings > Phone System and click Add Number.
2. Search by country or area code to find a number you like.
3. Complete the purchase, and it will appear under your list of active numbers.

Call forwarding

If you'd rather calls to your Vendi Today number ring your cell phone or office line, set up forwarding:

1. Go to Settings > Phone Numbers.
2. Open the menu next to your number and choose Edit Configuration.
3. Enter the number you want calls forwarded to and save.

Sending your first messages

With email and a phone number in place, you're ready to message contacts:

• One-on-one: open a contact's profile and use the message composer to send by email, text, or call.
• In bulk: from your contacts list, filter down to the group you want, select them, and send from the toolbar. You can send immediately, schedule for later, or drip the messages out gradually in batches so you're not blasting everyone at once.
