Customizing the Booking Widget

The booking widget is what customers actually see and interact with when scheduling an appointment. Vendi Today gives you several ways to make it match your brand and control how much information it shows.

Appearance options

From Calendars > Calendar Settings, click Edit on a calendar, then open Advanced Settings > Widget Appearance:

• Primary color — applies to buttons, selected dates, time slots, and interactive elements like staff selection and the add-guest option.
• Background color — sets the tone behind the date/time selector and form sections. Custom forms adopt this background too, while keeping their own field styling.
• Button text — change the label on the final booking button (for example, "Book Now" or "Schedule Meeting" instead of the default).
• Hide calendar details — optionally hide the calendar name, description, duration, date/time, recurrence info, and time zone display for a cleaner look.

Use Preview Widget to see your changes before they go live, or Reset to Default to return to the standard color scheme.

Widget style: Classic vs. Neo

Calendars can render using either the Classic widget or the newer Neo widget, which offers a more modern layout and supports the appearance customizations above. You can choose which style a calendar uses from its widget settings. Note that most detailed customization options — including colors and hiding calendar details — only apply to the Neo widget.

Reordering multiple calendars

If you're displaying more than one calendar together (for example, in a calendar group or a service menu), you can drag and reorder them so they appear in the sequence that makes the most sense for your customers, rather than defaulting to creation order.

A note on custom CSS

If you've applied custom CSS to a calendar, it takes priority over the widget appearance settings above — so if a color or style isn't changing the way you expect, check for conflicting CSS first.
