Import an ActiveCampaign Email as a Template

Vendi Today can import an email design from ActiveCampaign using its share link. The result is an HTML template that opens in the code editor.

Get the share link in ActiveCampaign

1. Sign in to your ActiveCampaign account.
2. Go to Campaigns > Campaign Templates.
3. Hover over the template you want and click the gear icon.
4. Click Share.
5. Copy the link shown in the share window.

For a finished campaign, you can instead copy the campaign link using the option to save it as a template.

Import it into Vendi Today

1. Go to Marketing > Emails > Templates.
2. Click + New and choose Import Template.
3. Paste the ActiveCampaign link.
4. Check the preview that appears.
5. Click Create Template and enter a name.

What you get

• An HTML template that opens in the code editor, not the drag-and-drop editor.
• The name you entered, which you can change later.

After importing

• Preview on desktop and mobile.
• Replace ActiveCampaign merge tags with Vendi Today merge fields.
• Update the footer, sender details and links.
• Send a test email.
