Add DNS Records at Your Registrar

When you set up a dedicated sending domain, Vendi Today generates DNS records you need to add wherever your domain is registered. If automatic setup isn't available for your registrar, here's how to do it manually.

The records you'll add

Typically five records:

• Two TXT records — SPF (authorizes sending servers) and DKIM (signs outgoing mail)
• Two MX records — routing for mail to this domain
• One CNAME record — domain verification and secure link tracking

General steps

1. Log into your registrar's DNS management section.
2. For each record, create a matching entry with the same Type, Host/Name, Value.
3. In Host/Name, enter only the subdomain prefix, not the root domain.
4. Save each record — some registrars require saving one at a time.
5. Return and click Verify Domain. Propagation ranges from minutes to 48 hours.

Registrar-specific notes

If you run other email on your root domain, use a subdomain for sending. Some browsers can silently fail to save DNS changes on certain registrar dashboards — try a different browser if records aren't taking. MX Toolbox can confirm propagation.

Troubleshooting

Double-check Host/Name doesn't include the root domain twice, and that each Value was copied exactly.
