Placing a Scannable QR Code on a Page
The QR Code element shows a code that visitors can scan with a phone camera, or click, to open a link. The destination can be another page, a calendar, a form, a survey, a payment link or any outside address.
Add One
- Go to Sites > Websites or Funnels and open the page.
- Click the + icon, scroll to QR Code, and drag it onto the page.
- Choose a code from the dropdown. To make a new one, click the text link under the dropdown, which opens the QR builder without leaving the editor.
- Check the destination address shown for the code, so you are sure it points where you intend.
- Resize and position it for desktop and mobile, then Save and publish.
Edit Later
Select the element and click the blue Edit QR Code button. After changing a destination, or swapping to a different code, publish the page again so visitors get the update.
Library Behavior
QR codes live in your account's QR library, and you can manage them from the QR screens or from this inline editor.
- If the code you picked was later deleted, the element prompts you to choose or create another. Do that and republish.
- Codes belonging to a different location are labeled as such. For consistent control, use codes owned by your current account.
Good Placement
Print-ready QR codes work best at a good size with a plain light background and enough empty space around them. On a web page, add a short line such as "Scan to book" so people know what happens next.
Good to know: Scan the live code with your own phone before you share the page, because a mistyped destination is the most common issue.
