Attaching Files to Email Campaigns
You can send documents with a campaign, such as brochures, menus, price sheets or onboarding guides, so recipients get everything in one message.
How to attach
- Go to Marketing > Emails > Campaigns and click + New, or open the campaign you are editing.
- Finish designing the email.
- Click Send or Schedule.
- On the send screen, click Attach Files near the top.
- Upload or select your file or files.
- Confirm they appear in the attachment list.
- Choose how the email goes out: Send Now, Schedule, Batch Schedule, RSS Schedule or Smart Send.
Limits
You can attach several files, with a combined size of up to 10MB.
Where recipients see them
Attachments do not appear inside the email body or the builder preview. They show up in the recipient's inbox as attachments. To check, send yourself a test email and confirm the files are there and open properly.
Deliverability considerations
Large files and unusual file types raise the chance that spam filters flag a message. When a file is big, upload it to a page and link to it from a button instead. Use common formats such as PDF where possible.
When attachments make sense
- Brochures, menus and price lists.
- Forms to be filled in and returned.
- Proposals and onboarding documents.
- Images that should be saved in a specific version.
Good to know: Name files clearly, for example Spring-Price-List.pdf, because that is what readers will see in their inbox.
