Monitor a Website With Site Projects and Audits

A Site Project is the home base for one website. It shows how strong the site is, how much search traffic it earns and which technical problems are holding it back.

Add a site project

  1. Go to Sites > SEO > Site Projects.
  2. Click the button to add a new site and enter your homepage address, such as https://www.example.com.
  3. Connect Google Search Console if prompted (recommended). Pick the matching property.
  4. Wait for the first data to load. Some columns show a dash until the first audit finishes.

Read the dashboard

  • Domain Power: an authority score. Higher is generally better.
  • Backlinks: links from other sites to yours.
  • Organic Traffic: estimated monthly visits from search.
  • Site Health: a percentage that summarizes technical quality.
  • Issues: the count of problems found.

Open the project for tabs such as Overview, Organic Keywords, Backlinks, Top Pages and Site Audit.

Audit one page

  1. Choose On-Page Audit inside the project.
  2. Enter the page address and one or more target keywords.
  3. Click Run Audit.
  4. Read the content score, technical score and recommendations, and compare against competitor averages.
  5. Make changes on your site, then audit again.

Each page audit uses one audit credit, even if you enter several keywords.

Good to know: Linking Search Console adds real query data without using up lookup credits.
