PayPal as a Booking Payment Option
Not every customer wants to enter a card number, and some prefer to pay through an account they already trust. Vendi Today supports PayPal as a connected payment option for calendars that collect payment at booking.
Connecting PayPal
From your payment settings, connect your PayPal business account the same way you'd connect any other processor. Once connected, you can set it as the default payment method for a calendar, or offer it alongside other processors so customers can choose the one they prefer at checkout.
What the customer experience looks like
When PayPal is enabled, customers booking that calendar see it as a payment option during checkout. Selecting it takes them through PayPal's own login and payment confirmation flow rather than a card entry form, then returns them to complete the booking once payment is confirmed.
Refunds through PayPal
If you need to refund a booking that was paid through PayPal, you can process that refund either from your payments transaction history or directly from your PayPal account dashboard — either path updates the transaction record tied to the original appointment.
A note on combining processors
If you have multiple payment processors connected to the same calendar, only one acts as the default for a given transaction at a time — customers generally won't see every connected option simultaneously unless your setup is configured to present a choice.
Good to know: PayPal is a good option to offer alongside a card processor if your customer base skews toward people who prefer not to enter card details directly on your booking page.
