Use Browse AI Robots in Workflows

Browse AI lets you train "robots" that extract data from web pages. Connected to Workflows, robots can run on demand, and a completed run can start an automation.

Trigger

New Completed Task fires instantly when a robot finishes a task. Filter by robot, and use the optional operator filter to narrow by status, captured value, or run input.

Actions

  • Run Task starts one robot run, with optional inputs.
  • Bulk Run Tasks queues many runs of the same robot, one per row of inputs.
  • Get Task retrieves a run, including captured data once ready.
  • Get Bulk Run retrieves a whole batch and each child result.

All are premium steps. Robot and task credits are billed by Browse AI on your own account.

Connect

  1. In Automation > Workflows, add a Browse AI step and click Connect your account.
  2. Paste your API key from your Browse AI dashboard settings.

Set up the trigger

  1. Click Add New Trigger, go to Apps, and choose New Completed Task.
  2. Select the account, name the trigger, and choose the robot.
  3. Click Find New Records, select a sample as the mapping reference, and save.

Use cases

  • Watch a competitor page and send an alert when the price changes.
  • Let a customer submit a link, run a robot on it, and message them the results.
  • Enrich a list of leads in bulk using Bulk Run Tasks.

Good to know: Select a real finished task as the mapping reference so the captured field names are available to later steps.
