Add a Two-Step Order Form to a Funnel

A two-step order form splits checkout into two short screens. Step one captures contact and shipping details, and step two takes payment. Shorter screens can reduce form fatigue and raise completion rates.

Attach products to the funnel step first: open the step, go to the Products tab and add them. See the article on adding products to a funnel.

Add the form

  1. Open your funnel and select the step for checkout.
  2. Click Add Elements (+) at the top left and, under Order elements, drag the Two-Step Order element onto the page.
  3. In the element settings, open Form options and select Step 1. Set the headline, sub-headline, company name (hidden, optional or required), phone requirement, whether to ask for shipping, and the button text.
  4. Switch to Step 2 to edit payment labels, headers and the final button text.
  5. Review the other options below.
  6. Adjust button, text and background colors.
  7. Preview the full purchase, then publish.

Optional settings

  • Cart mode: lets customers choose several products and quantities on one form.
  • Product description and pricing: show or hide details such as setup fee, trial and recurring price.
  • Order bump: offer a complementary item at checkout.
  • Coupon codes: let buyers enter a discount.
