Import Products and Prices from Stripe
If you already manage your product catalog and pricing inside Stripe, you can pull that catalog into Vendi Today instead of rebuilding it from scratch.
What can be imported
- Only recurring/subscription prices are eligible for import — one-time prices need to be created manually in Vendi Today.
- Prices must exist in Stripe's Live mode; test-mode prices won't show as importable.
- Metered pricing plans can't be imported.
How it works
When you import a price, Vendi Today creates the matching product (if it doesn't already exist) along with the corresponding price. It also mirrors the same product and price into your Stripe Test mode, and into PayPal if that integration is connected — so your test environment and alternate provider stay aligned with what customers see live.
Things to keep in mind
- A price that's already been imported won't show up again as an import option.
- Editing a price directly in Stripe after importing it does not automatically update the version in Vendi Today — you'd need to re-import it as a new product to pick up the change.
This makes Stripe import a good one-time (or occasional) sync rather than an ongoing two-way connection — treat Vendi Today as the place you manage pricing going forward once the import is done.
